Rejuvenation

Yes, I know my posts are late (of late…lol), but it’s only because I don’t have a laptop. But hey, I’m finding new ways to spend time.

Like, reading more and writing more and listening to more music…all things I’ve done before, but have drastically reduced thanks to my laptop and the number of shows I watch!

I guess we all need time to rejuvenate sometimes, you know? Perhaps weekly. It helps us restore our nonsense (and sense) over the past 7 days. So just do something that makes you feel genuinely happy…not materialistic, but more meaningful.

Think about it – when was the last time you did something for yourself? Something that made you feel genuinely happy, like you did when you were a child and got the last chocolate! Or when was the last time you went on a trip and felt…different after coming back? When was the last time you had something that was super difficult to say goodbye to?

With technology and different ways and means of keeping in touch, distance is nothing but a number now. And while this is a good thing, it may not be the best. What do you think?

This week, I had a lot of holidays and spent most of it watching movies, eating out and hanging out with a few friends. And I am thankful for all that and more πŸ™‚

What are you thankful for this week?

Song of the week:
