A lot has happened this week, and hence I don’t even have much time to think and write about profound epiphanies.
The best thing of all is, my mom is back!! π Home-food, a proper sleep schedule and most importantly, family in the house. Sigh I missed her so much.
My mini epiphany though is about how we, and by we I mean our current generation, are so numb to emotions and affection. It’s all about the hustle for good grades, a good job, and all that jazz. I mean I won’t deny it, so am I. I want my career to run ahead like crazy…and don’t have the patience to wait for it to reach is peak. But between all this, we forget what it’s like to be hugged by your mother, or eat a full fledged meal, or just…have someone check on you at the end of the day to make sure you’re well.
But anyway, this is all on surface; maybe you do appreciate these things in life. And if you do, kudos to you π
Things I’m thankful for this week:
- The Dad – for calling and clarifying matters rather than texting π
- Amma – for cooking the minute you came back! β€
- The sister – for some legit advice, then justifying it π
- Best…friend – for being the best alarm clock ever!
- Betty and Seni – for going down memory lane…and being the best homies ever π
- Monica – for getting in touch π
- Maggi – for being there when I didn’t want to cook
What are you thankful for this week? π
Song of the week:

I’m here too! Yay β€ Also, who do you live with now? (When Amma isn't here?)
Hehe β€
The maid π
