Random acts of kindness | People series

In a world where we are more focused on the negatives rather than positives, we have people who do good, and make it more positive. On one hand, we’ve people who crib about how nothing is going right (I’m sadly one of these people), and on the other we have people spreading positivity and kindness.

In my many years of social networking, I have been closely following Sonia Parekh, someone I went to college with. We gelled quite well but weren’t so close. But over the years, I have seen her grow and flourish into an even more beautiful human being, both inside and out. Sonia ventures to spread kindness across the world, through letters, acts or just her simple posts. She is part of The Goodwill Tribe, inspiring kindness and human connection. And although we don’t talk much now, I would like to commend her doings, and wish her all the best in her coming years.

Head on over to her Instagram and show her some love, kindness and help her spread the same among your peers and beyond 🙂

The week went by quite quickly for me…entailed a lot of work, partying with the colleagues, and art. Not so eventful, but we did have some funny incidents such as “carrots cure headaches” and “wine jumping”. Sadly, things I just cannot explain here, but also they’re utter nonsense, so just ignore 😛

This week I am thankful for:

  1. The family
  2. People like Sonia
  3. The best friend
  4. Midweek malt shake stress buster, courtesy of the Boss
  5. Time well spent on losing voices (Karaoke) and shocking people (surprise party!)

What are you thankful for this week? 🙂

Song of the week:
