UK SUMMER: SWANSEA PART 2 – SISTER’S VISIT

I know this post is long overdue. And I have no valid excuse but my own laziness. Sigh.

Having established that, let’s go back to a few months, when it was all stressful with the CELTA course. What made me calm was the presence of my family…and my sister’s visit was just the best “keep calm” week ever! She’s the best!

With her, I got to experience Swansea from a different perspective. That’s the beauty of travel I guess…everyone has a different view on things, making a place unique in many different ways. Is that a paradox? Oh well.

My family was down to visit me as I graduated this summer. Yes. But aside from that, it was the sheer presence of them that made Swansea all the more better.

We visited the same places, but tried new things. We walked around the same town, but saw new things. We ate at the same restaurants, but had new things. We cooked, appreciated nature and introspected, but together…which is why I love them.

Here are a few clicks from the trip, the last one by my sister and best friend, Lakshmi Subramaniyam. 🙂
