Despite being born in Kerala, I never really had the opportunity to explore my home. However, last summer, we went around Kochi and I discovered a new side to India; one that I actually liked. I don’t know if I was being biased (because it’s home), or the place is genuinely likable.
One thing that I found very fascinating was the Chinese fishnets in Kochi. The technique dates back to ancient times, and needless to say, I wasn’t the only one constantly clicking pictures of the practice.
