Holi!

Holi, according to my research, is the “Hindu spring festival celebrated in February or March in honour of Krishna.”

Holi, for me, is just a festival of colour. It has become such a global thing that it is celebrated everywhere. Having said that, we at Swansea had our first Holi celebration; and I had my first experience of the colourful event.

Having lived away from India most of my life, festivals like Holi were not a big deal where I lived. We usually celebrated the bigger festivals like Diwali or Navratri. Celebrating Holi for the first time, outside India, with awesome friends, is an experience I will never forget!
